LST Projects delivered a refurbishment at Oaklands Catholic School and Sixth Form College in Hampshire, which will significantly improve the thermal performance of a three-storey building.

A total of 60 windows in the ‘A block’ were replaced well as several external doors. The new aluminium windows are double glazed and feature Teleflex operating mechanisms. The doors have been sprayed with a polyester powder coating to ensure a durable solution that is resistant to bad weather, chipping and colour fade.

The north facing clerestory windows were blocked up and the roofline guttering to the north elevation was replaced with seamless aluminium type. Adding to the project was the installation of a fire curtain to half the width of the north elevation window to class T5.
