It’s that time of the year again when we’re all looking back over what’s been achieved and looking ahead to the new year.
It’s been a brilliant year for both us and our clients, that has seen a variety of different facilities all over the region. Our team has been hard at work maintaining its stellar reputation as a reliable and trustworthy source of construction services.
Here’s just a few of our memorable moments from 2017.
Starting the year off with a company rebrand and new website.
The work on Yellow Dot nursery finished on time and on budget in April, after working through a pretty soggy start to the year. The clients and architects were happy with the results “They were very good to work with – a great bunch of people and very proactive. We’d happily work with them again” was feedback we were really pleased with.
The completion of a refurbishment of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Southampton General Hospital was finally revealed and the Primary Intake Substation Superstructure at HMNB Portsmouth. Both schemes were a resounding success and demonstrated the dedication of both our team and the whole delivery chain.
And the substation superstructure project was topped off with the arrival of HMS Queen Elizabeth just a few weeks ago.
We also welcomed several new members to the team this year as well as celebrating long-term service to the company. Our mini LST Projects awards ceremony marked the arrival of two new employees and taking the opportunity to award some great long-standing members of staff including Patrick Mballa and Robin Morton.
Patrick Mballa is not only celebrating ten years with the company but also his personal achievement of completing the Eastleigh 10K Road Race in which he raised money for Cameroon Catalyst, the charity initiative he co-founded in 2009. Other charity initiatives supported this year include The Wiltshire Air Ambulance Wheelbarrow Challenge undertaken by Wilton Focus School.
After such an eventful time in 2017, we look forward to a successful 2018 and working with our clients to deliver excellence in every scheme. We would like to thank all our clients for their support in 2017 and we offer you our best wishes for the season.
