Improving facilities for local communities is at the heart of what LST do. We are delighted to have been appointed by Freedom Leisure to undertake the refurbishment of de Stafford Sports Centre in Caterham. This is the second project we have been awarded for the customer, following the successful completion of the Arun Leisure Centre refurbishment in 2017.

Freedom Leisure is a not-for-profit leisure trust which manages leisure and cultural facilities on behalf of partners across the UK. LST will be supporting Freedom Leisure to provide a high-quality service that will inspire the local community and increase participation in health and fitness activities.

LST were awarded the Design and Build project to undertake extensive alterations, refurbishment and fit out of the existing facilities, including the reception area, gym, café and office space. LST will also construct a new first floor fitness studio, entrance foyer and lobby.  The new areas are designed to ensure an enhanced visitor experience.

Early engagement and a Design and Build contract will bring many benefits to our customer, providing the opportunity to add value through programme efficiencies, and a streamlined approach to procurement.
