As a business that was up and running before the internet, television, air travel and the First World War, we’ve experienced lots of change and that’s seen us evolve significantly over the years.
Founder Louis S Tuffin began trading in 1895 as a builder and decorator. Growing through five generations of the same family, we’ve since transformed from a general maintenance and jobbing builder business into a respected regional construction contractor.
But one thing that’s stayed the same is our focus on delivering the highest quality service. We don’t break promises. We do what we say we’re going to do, ensuring we always meet or exceed our clients’ expectations.
To celebrate 125 years, please look out for our special initiatives and we will also be reflecting on some of our most notable projects, the impact of LST team members, and the achievements that have enabled LST to stand the test of time.
